I don’t understand the idea of a “single sex spaces” how on earth would something like that be regulated

They can’t be, at least not in a way that doesn’t result in increased harassment from authorities. That’s why I think we need to focus on improving facilities like bathrooms to allow privacy for everyone (full doors on stalls for example) and shift our culture to one that calls out harassment and holds people accountable.

Oh yes 100% agree with you here. As someone who is kind of thought this through I can’t think of a single way to do it without sexually assaulting people

I’m convinced that men designed public bathrooms. Because like why are the cracks so wide and why is the door so high up I don’t get it 😭

I’d believe it. Also if women designed bathrooms then they’d all have purse hooks and the sink bowls would be bigger so there wouldn’t be water everywhere and we could set stuff down on the counter without it getting wet

They’re called “power rooms” if I’m not mistaken. they served an actual purpose at some point in time

I think they work good as a waiting area so people don’t need to stand outside of the bathroom or in the bathroom
