maybe this is too non progressive of me but i somehow dont get offended when ppl r like using depression. PTSD or OCD in hyperbolic contexts despite having both, like thats just life ppl r gonna exaggerate and say shit wrong yj
it’s only when it gets to a point, ppl saying their autistic when they aren’t just bc they do something stupid pisses me off tho

I wouldn’t say I’m offended per se, but one of my pet peeves is people being loudly incorrect, so that stuff pisses me off still. Just not in an offensive way if that makes sense

It depends on the context. I’m diabetic and the jokes used to piss me off, now they’re so unfunny that they’re funny.
I don’t like people claiming struggles for sympathy but a millennial being like “I’m hecking ocd” for sorting things by color isn’t that bad?

Yuh it definitely depends, I think the hyperbolic aspect is something ppl should acknowledge too, like obvi they dont mean that they have it, theyre just using it to show how something menial or insignificant impacted them

Yeah like ppl being corny is funny as fuck I’ll correct them if I think it helps but most of the time it’s like. Lmao yes mcayleigh you’re so quirky for having colored Stanley cups.

also if people are being annoying you can always say “I actually have OCD.” and then they get flustered and it’s funny af
