Try a bigger, fluffier brush and a lighter hand! Sorry someone was mean, a lot of girls our age love wearing a lot of blush so they must’ve just been dumb

It made so much sense when you said it was your dad hahahaha. I’ve cried over my family’s mean comments on my self expression more than once!! Alll the love in the world, if it makes you feel confident that is quite literally all that matters! I suck at makeup too lol 💗

I wanna learn so bad because I never did as a teenager due to growing up with a religious nut mom who thought makeup meant you were a whore. So now as a 23 year old all I can do is eyeliner and mascara, the rest of it is a mystery to me 🥲

Learning out to use eyeliner at 19…is the most embarrassing thing I’ve done and that’s saying something considering the bullshit I’ve done

I’m just starting to learn makeup too and have to keep in mind I’m doing it for fun/trusting the process. It’s hard when what I end up doing is so far from what the vision is, but we’ll get there!

This is why I don’t normally bother with makeup. Well not why exactly, but it’s something I’m glad I don’t deal with

I would watch a bunch of tutorials from like 2016-2018, that’s how I learned

I love using too much blush. If I wanna be pink and sparkly, not ones stopping me

i had to teach myself and it helped a lot to learn it from an art theory perspective because it lets you understand why we use each product instead of blindly layering them. good luck :)

Ohh lmaoo ok that’s better at least, dads don’t understand their own generation’s women’s beauty trends much less the younger ones haha

Ok but just eyeliner and mascara is such a good combo! If you really want to learn other stuff try watching drag queen makeup videos they know how to do some good makeup. You dont have to go as extravagant but they give you a great foundation.
