An important part about dating is seeing that you and your partner have other options yet you both still pick each other! It solidifies the relationship. But also you don’t have to be single to be at bars with just your friends and if your bf doesn’t let you then that’s a conversation that needs to be had about trust

You ultimately can do anything your single friends can do aside from hookup with guys. A comfortable relationship is a trusting one. Flirt w a guy for a free drink - my bf would be ecstatic #free. we’re really young to have been with someone that long, and it’s literally such an amazing thing that you got to experience that at this age. but because of all that, it means you do “miss out” on some things other single people may get to do. it’s all a mindset and you’re not necessarily missing out if you don’t see it that way. i think it’s good that you’re acknowledging ur feelings and you’re not wrong or gross for having them.

like it is so totally okay to love ur man to the ends of this earth but want to experience something else. feelings are complex and don’t come one at a time. please don’t feel guilty, just make whatever choice you need to that ensures long term happiness. you can also love him while still going out and having fun with friends!!!
