actually learned this in nursing school and good samaritan laws protect even non-certified people from lawsuits for doing cpr and any injuries that may unintentionally arise from it! there’s also a federal law that protects people (forgot what it’s called). these only laws protect for basic life support, so please don’t try to intubate someone on the street lmao
