I’m certified but I have a fear that if I preform it on a stranger and fuck up their ribs somehow someway the family will come back and sue or something 😀 I overthink … a lot

actually learned this in nursing school and good samaritan laws protect even non-certified people from lawsuits for doing cpr and any injuries that may unintentionally arise from it! there’s also a federal law that protects people (forgot what it’s called). these only laws protect for basic life support, so please don’t try to intubate someone on the street lmao

Because it’s pretty normal to not want to break someone’s ribs but it’s sometimes inevitable with cpr. I think we are done here and I don’t believe you’re being serious.
