Because we aren’t letting kindergarteners play or do things that are developmentally appropriate and instead teaching kindergarteners things that are developmentally inappropriate in developmentally inappropriate ways, they’re not actually learning the things they need to know in kindergarten and aren’t learning how to be inquisitive learners. Make kindergarten preschool again damnit!
