I don’t know why this is downvoted… 🤨 but they also like to completely change the meaning to certain words. I HATED when they got ahold of “gyat” when it was literally us over exaggerating the word “goddamn”.

yeppp after centuries of stereotyping Black people as dumb and stupid and lazy. and they’re appropriating the words to be “funny” as if they’re not actually real words in AAVE that follow actual dialectal rules and grammar. it’s all a big joke to them
