Have you ever talked to a real woman about this? I've heard views from many of the women I know and it's a much more nuanced topic than what your for you page is leading you to believe. Of course her murder of her kids is a tragedy and there is no excuse, all women I've talked to about it agree. But also, Lindsay Clancey constantly reached out for help from her husband and doctors about her mental state and they did not offer her the help she needed. This was very preventable.

Nothing is ever black and white. Do I think Lindsay Clancey should be held accountable for what she did? Yes. But also professional help and support for women struggling mentally should be much more available and normalized. If her husband wasn't a deadbeat and doctors listened to her this could have been prevented, but because of the way we systematically treat women and their health that sadly wasn't the case.

and it’s always so interesting to me that people get more upset when feminists or women want to be superior to men, but no one bats an eye when men are constantly wanting to be superior to women. it’s just crazy how misandry seems to upset people more than misogyny, when misogyny is a much more serious issue that has literally contributed to violence and women being killed

Well it’s much harder to have concrete evidence and proof when you refuse to accept what is written. So the goal post is being moved, which, if we take any of the women online that are “feminists” while being clear misandrists, it changes how feminism is represented

brother we have not reached that point 😭😭 the wage gap still exists. our rights to abortion and birth control are being threatened and taken away from us. medical gaslighting disproportionately affects women, especially women of color. like op said, just because on paper it says we are created equal, doesn’t mean there’s not systematic and individual discrepancies

as long as there’s a cultural problem where women are looked down upon, mistreatment is normalized and excused, and double standards are normal, then no we have not achieved the goal of feminism yet. our society cannot be truly egalitarian when these issues are still endemic

i agree but it doesn't help when some (fake?) feminists attack other women for doing these things. i've seen them tell other women they can't be feminist or even call them misogynistic for dressing modestly, dating men, or identifying with a religion. policing other women like that is ironically misogynistic itself and just makes them feel excluded/marginalized, so it makes sense why some of them say that. that type of behavior needs to be called out more

You are stupid af. Women are not a homogeneous group. White women care more about upholding white supremacist systems that benefit them than standing in solidarity with marginalised women. Dismantling patriarchy is intertwined with dismantling white supremacy. Women’s rights means all women not just white women. If it’s revolving around only white women, it’s white feminism.
