Tbh idk why men get a mental health month when their mental health issues get taken way more seriously by medical professionals and women feel the need to suppress emotions even more because of the stereotype that we are “emotional”

I think it’s because men’s mental health gets minimized by society, and there is still a stigma surrounding it. The difference between men’s and women’s mental health statistically is difficult. Men are more likely to die by suicide, but women are more likely to engage in self-harm, have suicidal thoughts, and have more suicide attempts. I think both men’s and women’s mental health is equally important. But they present themselves differently between genders, and there is still stigma
