Like how am I ever meant to be on BC when it kills my sex drive and I actually love my ovulation week 😭 but the shitty catch-22 is I never want to get pregnant 😭 what a cruel situation
I stopped taking the pill about a month and a half ago and my libido has returned with a vengeance 😭

i wanna try nexplanon bc i DONTTT want it to kill my sex drive at all bc the main reason im getting on birth control is to have sex without a condom (long term monogamous relationship) and not her pregnant

Copper IUD? Something non hormonal shouldn’t effect your libido

I did nexplanon and I bled every single day I was on it 😭 and I never ever got wet. I relied so heavily on lube and that embarrassed me bc like I'm young 😭 BUT never once did I worry about pregnancy. It is in fact the most effective BC.It's just those periods of when I'm not on it I feel my hormones so well, and my ovulation week I feel so alive and human, yk?But beware the side effects of nexplanon. Everyone I know bled every day while on it. Not full-fledged period but like moderate spotting

Like I don't think it killed my sex drive but it took away the ability to get wet if that makes sense (no women's birth control makes sense)

The pill DID kill my sex drive, the shot isn't meant for long-term, and my gyno told me he didn't think I should get an IUD due to the tilt of my cervix and how painful insertion would be

that’s crazy, i’ve heard ppl say it gets rid of their period entirely. but ik if i had any adverse side effects for more than three weeks id have it taken out within the month bc im not gonna torture myself

i have noticed though that i don’t have many changes during ovulation, like i don’t feel extra alive or energetic (though i wish i did). so idk if i’d notice a difference with that while on it

My gyno told me insertion would be traumatic for me due to the tilt of my cervix :/
