Guys, why do I constantly have period cramps, it’s like I'm doing great, and then boom, I'm cramping even when I'm not actively menstruating. They also don't really go away with Tylenol and I can't take ibuprofen. I genuinely feel like I'm being stabbed 🤧

Not to mention my cramps have always been awful and I go through an overnight lad and a super tampon in like 3 hours, but doctors have always said I'm fine because my ultrasounds showed nothing abnormal. They gave me 800mg ibuprofen and sent me on my merry way….which I couldn't take 💀

I’d recommend documenting your symptoms and when they happen and how frequently. It sucks that we have to do things like this because of the sexism in the healthcare industry but a lot of times doctors think women are just fat or not drinking enough water or something stupid like that. Idk what the cause could be but I’d recommend requesting a female doctor who may take you more seriously

Unfortunately, every single doctor I've seen for it has been a woman, which makes me feel even crazier because I picked them because I thought they'd listen. They just gave me new BC that didn't work and arguably made it worse because I bled for almost a month straight before I switched back to my old brand 🫩
