Yup same. I asked for new earbuds (my current AirPods don’t fit in my ear properly) and a gaming headset (my current one is quite literally falling apart)

Ask for experiences instead of things: concert tickets, museum, a dinner at a fav restaurant, a season pass or a day at an amusement park, a day trip to something cool within a 3hr drive to you, etc
