Why do dads get so excited when their daughter does a sport like soccer or softball but pissy when it’s something like dance or cheer? My dad had an attitude every time he had to take me to dance practice

that’s a ur dad thing. mine was so proud to watch me during gymnastics and dance and when i had volleyball practice he would face time with my mom if he couldn’t be there bc of work
