Yes but he is a horrible person that nobody wants to give a fuck about because there are deaths that are enormously more important than that jackasses death like the death of INNOCENT fucking kids and mothers and so fucking on and If you think I or anyone else crazy for not feeling pity for this mf because heās a āhuman being with a family blah blah blahā and shit then you can smd š
No oneās making fun of him the fact of the matter is three people have died two of them were lynched since Charlie Kirkās death and still this mediocre white man is on the new and all over the media but they arenāt idgaf he provided nothing to the world and he died by the same ideology he preached š¤·š½āāļø who gives af???
Hey, man. I hope youāre well. As a Christian, Iāve seen a lot of folks use the āIām praying for youā line not as something genuine, but as a performative, passive-aggressive way of dismissing someone. A way to paint the other person as too dumb, wrong, or mentally ill to be worth engaging with. All while presenting themselves as righteous while doing it. It makes me sad that itās becoming more of a ābless your heartā by the day. :(
Maybe youāre not doing that! But idk, using it as a way to shut someone down or imply theyāre beneath engagement just really feels antithetical to Christian values we got taught (like grace, humility, sincerity, etc.) that I spent a whole lotta time in Catholic school learning. Sorry to bring it up, it just didnāt sit right. I wish yāall well.
he stood for free speech, truth, and open debate. you label it virtue signaling but what are we supposed to say when you bring up someone elses death. āoh yeah f those people we only pay attention to kirkā. no, we also care for those people who lost their lives so we say that in response, but you take it as dishonest. paradox. believe what you want. all lives are precious and valuable. no one innocent deserves to die. end of story. if you disagree you have something wrong with you.
Just to reiterate. I am saying I stand with Charlie and everything he stood for. Iām saying to the person that posted this comment- cry me a river. I am sorry that someone constantly lets someone get to them and politics get to them. If you disagree just donāt comment on Charlieās death. He was a good guy and for anyone who disagrees just kept your inhumane comments to yourself!
yāall LITERALLY DO say āoh yeah fuck those people we only care about Kirk,ā just in a nice way with indifferent platitudes. āof course I care about school shooting victims despite me literally never even posting about them, let alone putting up monuments to them š„ŗ anyways can we go back to sucking Kirkās dick please š„ŗā yāall should be ashamed.
wrong! looks like you are one of the brainwashed idiots. you say u care about other lives lose but whereās all the support? why the actual fuck are yall worshipping this podcaster when there are CHILDREN DYING AT SCHOOL. fucking dumbass bro get ur fucking head out of trumps ass.
omg! he had a family? like every single other person in the fucking world? get over urself, having a family doesnāt make someone special. such a good dad that he would force his minor daughters to carry a baby until birth if she was raped and got pregnant. yeah, great family man.
#12 and 15 this is your point of view. sure there are a bunch of people who do this and I think it is sick. as I said all life is valuable so the children dying are extremely important. the only reason the nation is highlighting kirk was because he was a highly influencial politcal and religious figure. is was also known across the world so when someone like that is assassinated, it is normal for there to be a big deal. that does not mean we discredit or ignore the deaths of others.
I agree they need to be addressed. However the right is doing everything they can to exacerbate the problem. I challenge you to name one policy of theirs that has directly improved the situation. Also, to say that boosting coverage of Kirkās death doesnāt take away from talking about the deaths of others is a complete lie. Where has the coverage been on all the lynchings this year?
He was a very important man and african american activist. However, you are talking about the 1960s which is over 50 years ago. Logically we cannot celebrate every single important person who died from the past for 50+ years. At the time there was a lot of political and racial tension so I would expect that he was not celebrated and respected as much back then which led to the lack of acknowledgement of his life today. your point?
The vandalizing was immature and disrespecful. You have to remember that just because a few people affiliated with the same party does not mean all people in that party are like that. I would agree with their political stance but not their behavior which makes us different. Im sure you wouldnt want to be shoved in a generalized behavior box because there are a few liberals (or whatever you consider yourself to be) that behave in a way you disagree with. That is a fallacy and it is called
Okay fine, if you want my logical dick up your ass that badly you can just ask. 1. You claim that Kirkās death was highlighted because of his influence, which I agree. However, you fail to acknowledge the extent to which the right has weaponized his death to galvanize further hatred of the left. Also, if you watch a lot of the coverage on people mourning him it appears EXTREMELY performative. They had an ai likeness of him claiming to be in heaven for fuckās sake.
2. You failed to address the current situation regarding Fred Hamptonās grave until #14 brought it up in response to your point. This point, I might add seemed to be an attempt at straw manning their argument by placing the focus on Fred Hamptonās life, which while impressive, is only supplemental to the topic at hand.
3. You claim to hold the same political stance as an entire group of people, while also condemning all of their behavior. Sounds a bit generalizing to me m8. Iāll be charitable and admit I could be misinterpreting this though. That being said, the right does this ALL THE GD TIME!! Immediately after Kirkās death a bunch of the MAGA base and leaders shot to twitter and news media to start pointing the blame at the entire left without any evidence to support those claims.
1. I agree that there are some people who are taking it too far with the ai and those who are weaponizing against the left the media highlights. The reality is softer that those extremes. Everyone I have talked to and a lot of people on the inside when you dig deeper than the fyp are simply mourning his death respectfully and not performatively. There are always those who will try to profit on something like that (both sides) and we have seen it.
3. I do not condemn ALL of their behavior but the behavior of those who claim to be on the same side and go do foolish disrespectful things. It is not generalizing because I only condemn those who I hear of or see do that. I disagree with the extremity of those peopleās actions. Itās unnecessary. People on both sides need to realize it is ok to disagree peacefully and discuss it instead of pointing fingers or being disrespectful. Thatās my take
what about the censorship of conservatives on social media platforms like twitter during the biden presidency? what about the conservatives who are attacked and blackmailed on college campuses by their left wing peers for simply having an opinion? me personally i have been name called, blocked, and close friends have unfriended me calling me all sorts of terrible things and saying i should off myself. i got the easy side. saying the left has done absolutely nothing is a heavily biased opinion.
