
maybe just tell them youll feel bad if they get u gifts and that you’re low on money, i don’t really feel like that’s dumping your problems on people. and just tell them you’re gonna be to yourself till january to work on your mental health, i think they’d appreciate the communication since you wouldn’t be going ghost. and if they’re your friends, they should understand and respect that you’re not mentally in a great place and need some time
I have no one to talk to bc I don’t wanna rain on anyone’s parade, like one is in their first year of college, has a new man and new friends and I don’t wanna just go and complain about my problems, one just got a new job, and one is on a “my life is great” kick and one is excited about the fact that it’s Christmas season.
