Do you have any other friends who don’t like house parties/bars etc? I have a group of friends who just like intimate “parties” and we have fun lil game nights/wine nights, etc. where we have some drinks and chill. I didn’t have a fake but I had older friends who would buy alcohol and share w me during our hangout weekends

Going to bars is the worssttt place to make friends. Most people stick to their friend group and don’t branch out from that night, it’s easier to make friends in classes and clubs (clubs you’re actually interested in, not just joining every single one offered). Ofc people are nice to you at bars but it’s not safe to go alone (sorry for sounding like a mom lol). I also make a class GroupMe and try to be the one to set up study sessions
