Girl I do fear it definitely ties together. In my opinion- just having those thoughts and urges makes you a problem and you need serious help. Not acting on it immediately doesn’t mean they won’t. Predator, pedophile. All the same shit.

& that’s what it’ll remain.. an opinion. that’s like saying just because someone commits assault it’s fair to call them a killer & if someone has an abortion they’ll hurt kids too. that logic can be messily applied to anything. there are the most hardened criminals in prison that wouldn’t turn their crimes on a child because it’s known to be that much more heinous. you shouldn’t even be comfortable calling people pedophiles who haven’t hurt kids due to the seriousness of those acts. not a fact

Wait you’re actually so right. Your comment had me thinking. Did some research. And yes Nicki’s husband is infact a pervert, but he’s not a pedophile. By any means. His charges were from when he was 16 and against another 16 year old. That’s so crazy. The two words have literally just always tied together and I never really looked into it before today. Your logic also got me thinking and it makes sense when you put it like that. People tend to just use the terms loosely as if they go together.

I honestly kinda did the same thing but I see there’s definitely a clear line. And also- what I was saying earlier… I didn’t mean having the thoughts should land you in jail. I just meant it most definitely puts you at a much higher risk of wanting to act on it. Those thoughts don’t just go away ya know? People like that need help psychologically.
