The companies that are advertising and trying to get women to donate eggs lie constantly and never tell you the actual risks of their medications and procedures

They also only take you if you are white with a good medical history and no bad family medical history

If you are seriously considering donating, I would suggest you look into all the risks and side effects of the procedure AND the medication, then find a company that will let you know the family it goes to as well as do the procedure while you’re under anesthesia (and not just sedated) and has a good history of ethical practices

Also, even if it wasn’t a scam to donate eggs, it’s a LONG and serious process getting medical clearance to do so. It’s the same with donating sperm. Absolutely no nicotine, alcohol or any other substances, no history of mental health conditions, no STDs, no conditions like PCOS or endo, etc. it’s extremely thorough
