i’m gonna make it real simple for you. “team red” wants to kill 100 puppies. “team blue” wants to kill 50 puppies. you know deep down that either team red or team blue will have power. even if it makes me “complicit”, i’m gonna vote for team blue, thereby killing fewer puppies puppies, and then separately advocate for team blue to stop killing puppies altogether. you refuse to participate, which, among other factors, contributes to “team red” winning, which kills 50 more puppies.

No it’s actually like this: team red and team blue both want to kill 100 puppies each. Team red is honest about their intentions and doesn’t hold back but team blue obfuscates it in flowery language and gaslights you into thinking it’s the ethical thing to do. you cannot possibly believe that the democratic party is just as bad as the republican party. not when the right is disappearing innocent people, demonizing trans and queer identities, destroying scientific institutions, and, by the way, using just as much flowery language around “protecting the children” and “protecting america”. you refuse to participate by refusing to acknowledge the reality that, in our current system, only “team red” or “team blue” can hold power.

The Democratic Party under Obama deported more people than both trump and bush! Trump appointed Obama’s deporter in chief’s border czar. They’re just concealing it more and republicans proudly do it bc it appeals to their base. Kamala refused to say she’d protect federal LBGTQ legislation and was going back on all of that. And it’s just different language for different bases. Same evil shit by both parties. The parties work together
