my top tips: exfoliate and wash first, clean sharp razor, hit it with an isopropyl alcohol wipe after or tend skin (external skin only obvi) to avoid razor burn, moisturize!!!! and exfoliate and moisturize every day after to keep ingrowns and bumps away

this might be a dumb question, but for moisturizing are you using a body lotion or like your face moisturizer

you can use either! some people have a reaction to scented lotions, so if you have very sensitive skin usually face moisturizers are just more gentle ingredients
