There are really no truly AFAB spaces in most counties besides the Middle East but even then I’d argue that it’s not truly AFAB bc there is no way to regulate something like that without sexually assaulting people

In Islamic culture men are women are often separated so there are places in Islamic countries that are separated by sex like train cars. But realistically nothing is stopping a trans woman from going in there if they pass. So it’s not truly a AFAB space. But transgender people in the countries are highly prosecuted. So some people see single sex spaces in those counties to be truly “single sex”, but logically speaking they’re not.

I think trans Women Are Women and even female in some circumstances. I agree it’s transphobia, there is just not way to regulate a same sex space. The whole argument is stupid bc it’s not realistic

i agree the argument is stupid! because it’s not even like it’s an issue in real life😭 the safe spaces afab women have are with our friends. so there’s no reason to go out of the way to be like no trans women can be here! trans women aren’t trying to talk to cis women about periods
