But GOD FORBID a woman doesn’t want to date a man with low self esteem bc his bad feelings abt himself are ā€œour faultā€ for rejecting him and we should just suck it up and date him to boost up his confidence since he’s entitled to our time and attention. Yeah FUCK MEN 🤢

The wording might be a little too blunt, but I understand the point he’s trying to make. I’ve dated someone who had been šŸ‡. Bc of what happened, she struggled to trust anyone, including me, her boyfriend. They also deal with significant emotional and mental challenges as a result of the trauma. Experiences like that don’t just disappear. So if it’s someone you’ve only recently met and are trying to get to know, it can be hard to do so

Insane how they truly only care about how it affects them— ā€œseems like every woman has a rape storyā€ā€” instead of being concerned abt how women are so consistently attacked and abused he’s just annoyed that he has to deal with the emotional turmoil in the aftermath that we deal with every fucking day what a piece of shit

Maybe Im Reading This Wrong But Ion Think Youre A POS If You Are A Victim Of Sexual Assault. I Think Others Dont Understand How Much Sexual Trauma Sticks With You Especially During Intimate Moments ..

I dont think you’re a POS but even if you’re a victim saying it’s a good reason to break up with someone is very damaging and can hurt so many people. It’s one thing to put those feelings on yourself but to spread that opinion is wrong. Also maybe you’ve had bad luck bc you seem to be picking assholes instead of a compassionate and caring partner. I hope you find one one day

I mean I can’t form a relationship. I was trying to dryly joke about how it sucks for us way more. I’m sorry I’m picking assholes though I’ll definitely try better for you next time.

Okay I’m sorry for talking about how sexual assault affects the victim more than their future partners on a post talking about men complaining about victims of sexual assault

They can pick somebody who hasn’t experienced anything bad or who has magically fully healed from it but I can’t pick somebody who undoes what happened

You can seek therapy to help you be comfortable having sex again. Or just date someone who isn’t interested in sex

the whole point is that nobody cares that it inconveniences a dude if someone’s been raped. like nobody cares. yeah it matters for the victim way more. and i was raped a few days ago it fucking sucks i want to kill myself. ion give a fuck if that’s someone’s dealbreaker just fuck off dude yknow that’s all

I’m in therapy. Sometimes it takes a while. In the meantime let me know if you find a man who is actually okay with not having sex lol

I know nobody but the dude cares if it inconveniences the dude. I am talking about how it inconveniences me. I am not the dude. I hope you stop wanting to kill your self soon. It hasn’t let up for me yet but somehow I am still here. I hope you can find a good therapist and talk about doing cpt or emdr. Be gentle and give yourself grace

When the CDC measures any contact sexual violence over a lifetime (by partners, acquaintances, and strangers alike), the statistic jumps to nearly 1 in 2 women at 44% to 50% of women.

I’m so glad you all aren’t dating anymore. No one, even a woman who hasn’t been victimized yet, doesn’t deserve to be with someone like you. Also get out of girl talk??? You’re a man. Leave.

ā€œhow can i blame women for men’s actions bc i’m not mature enough to navigate through any emotional hardships in a relationshipā€. if you guys truly loved the person you would dating you would have more anger for the perpetrator than annoyance that your gf isn’t competent for your needs. just stay single lil bro

Yeah you’re just not a good person. I will have flashbacks while we are having sex and without me having to say anything my partner will stop, hold me, and take care of me until I’m ok, that’s what a strong partner does, what a good person does. I hope you have a lot of personal growth before you get in a relationship and please stop mansplaining women’s trauma to us. Oh! And get the fuck out of girl talk

I’m in a relationship lol. That comment was abt my ex and why we didn’t move forward. She had a lot of mental and emotional trauma as a result of her šŸ‡. That made it very hard for her to open up and trust me. Even though I was trying to be there and provide emotional support. I did not say girls who got sa don’t deserve love… no. I’m just saying there’s some challenges when dating someone like that and not everybody wants to go through it It took 2 months before she would even let me kiss her

If you’ve just met someone, how are you gonna get to know them and eventually love them if they won’t trust or open up to you? That’s my point.
