They won’t!! Your first appointment will just be a general introduction, getting information about you. They will probably do a basic examination and possibly a breast exam. Just to make sure you’re healthy. They cannot force you to do anything you don’t want to do. Pap smear is something for another day, don’t worry about it right now. But when that day comes, please know it’s nothing to be afraid of. It doesn’t hurt. You only feel them doing it and a little pressure but that’s it.

I went for the first time at 22 so mine did do a Pap smear, yours may do it our wait till the following year check up. If they do do the PS, they’ll walk you through everything and what it’ll feel like, the process itself is super brief, I spent more time scooting down the table then I did doing the Pap smear lol

Hey hunny! They won’t make you get a Pap smear untold. However! Pap smears are NOT supposed to hurt, and if it does your doctor is doing something wrong. Ofc there’s going to be pressure and it’s going to be a little uncomfy bc it’s new but not painful. I turned 21 in August and got one done in October!
