I wish I liked reading growing up. I didn’t start reading until this year and I’ve missed out on so many good books and even now I have to FORCE myself to read :/

i LOVED readibg when i was growing up and i haven't actually sat down and read a full book cover to cover since highschool ✋🫪 its not a "u had to grow the habit early" thing at all imo, u just gotta do u 🤷‍♀️ u got all the time in the world to read whatever u want

I know I just wished I picked it up sooner because now I don’t have as much time to read and my tbr is over 40 books rn. If I started it in middle school I would’ve had years to develop the habit and find a good flow but since I started this year, I’m still addicted to my phone so when I do have the time I’m normally scrolling mindlessly :(
