
This is diagnosable and treatable. You don’t have to suffer. Start by checking out the diagnostic criteria (pic from NIH if u need it bigger). If it fits, you can talk to your primary care, gyno, or mental health professional. They’ll work to make sure there isn’t another condition that better fits. Treatments include birth control (to directly address hormonal triggers), SSRIs, and/or therapy. It is a relatively newer diagnosis, so you may have to advocate for yourself.
