I’ll never understand the “it’s cheating” nonsense. They’re not actively engaging with people and not communicating with me— it’s a prerecorded video. I don’t care if they watch porn because I do as well, and all I care about is honesty and transparency.

Date one gender and I don’t think it’s cheating but it can be something that someone might not be comfortable with their partner doing, like smoking for example

I’m also a bi woman and personally I think it’s up to the couples if both are cool with it then it’s fine but if one doesn’t and sets a clear boundary violating that I think would be wrong

i’m the same way! i’ve just seen what i feel is so many ppl viewing it as cheating, and bc ik im a very non-jealous person in part bc of how my sexuality informs my worldview i was wondering how others thought

i had never seen ppl say it was until encountering ppl on yikyak! most of my other social medias def reflect my opinions so i wanted to see what other ppl thought, esp bc i think my sexuality has a role in how i view dating, relationships, sex, etc that’s different than if i were straight or a lesbian

that’s a interesting comparison! i’ve just seen way more ppl on yikyak take issue with their partners watching porn than i ever have, id never even seen someone say it was cheating before, but my internet algorithm/echo chamber is pretty queer and sex positive so i was curious

exactly! i watch, read, listen to audios depending on what i feel like, i don’t expect a different standard for my partner. as long as theyre not messaging or otherwise regularly contacting someone in a sexual way idc

It’s definitely more prevalent in gen z (online at least) and my theory is that porn is too accessible on our phones (compared to before when you usually had to go out and buy or rent it) that too many of us (especially young men) end up addicted to porn and it ends up ruining relationships. Just to be clear, I do think it’s possible to watch porn and not be an addict, but porn addiction still exists
