Try looking at some silhouettes and waist lines from the 1920s!! This was the ideal body style and should allow you to find some inspiration on how to modernize it!!!!

I do the same with the 50s, 60s, and 40s when I’m trying to dress myself!! Halter Jumpsuits would probably look really good!!
