irritated with the straight boyfriend at pride discussion happening online because it does not matter. I can’t believe how many people are that a bisexual is dating a man and he might go to pride and you might see him. shake shack is there. who cares

how many people care* missed a letter! but I’ve seen so many tweets and some like insta story reposts and I’m not vibing with it… why would we assume someone going to the gay celebration is homophobic. and like how are you going to know a guy is straight anyway. it seems so male centered to be concerned about this hypothetical guy

plus like wouldnt you rather the bi girls with boyfriends to have supportive ones??? like sorry im glad emily’s boyfriend supports her identity and isnt a homophobe jesus christ. my mom goes to pride every year but she’s straight and no one’s gonna get on her for being an ally.

so true!! i really empathize with people wanting to keep it a safe space but if someone is being respectful and wants to enjoy it then hell yeah. and like you said how can we even tell if someone is a straight bf or a bisexual bf or a gay friend

also it pisses me off because my boyfriend and i are both bi and people always assume im bringing my straight bf to pride but we! are! both! gay! i leave him at home for sapphic stuff but just because a straight couple is at pride doesnt mean theyre both straight

maybe straight boyfriend gonna be a girl next year. we don’t know anything. but either way it is good to have the support of friends and family members. pflag is a 50 year old advocacy org started by straight parents of a gay son. there’s allies like it’s not a new thing

it’s never a concern for bi guys because if he likes boys he must be gay and the girl thing is a lie. very silly. but even if they are both straight WHO CARES like you said as long as you’re not bringing a man to girl stuff who gaf

support doesn’t fit the narrative. you have to believe he sucks so you can get mad about something. like there’s actual issues

I’m sure you have and just thought she was lesbian. I know a few with girlfriends, two with a fiancée, one with a wife.
