dude i get the exact feeling. haven’t ridden in almost 2 months and my old trainer texted me saying the horse i rode before the semester started is ready to be put to light work again (he was starved and neglected, i didn’t know about it), and i was so happy bc id do anything just to get on a horse and even just walk or trot around

It's been 6 months since I last rode 😭 but awwww poor baby!! That's great though that he's better and ready to be lightly worked again!

But yesss it was amazing to get in the saddle again. This was my first time riding this horse, and the owner even let me do some cantering too!

riding is just the best thing ever, even just being around horses. it’s so relaxing and rejuvenating. i love finding other equestrians or horse girls
