The overstimulated one pisses me off so much. Like no, unless you are in a situation where you feel like you have to leave immediately or you’re gonna have a meltdown in a public space you can’t say you’re overstimulated.

I have autism too. My two modes of overstimulation is complete shut down and near meltdown. Most of the neurotypical people I hear using overstimulated typically use it for the purpose of leaving a social situation so that’s why I said that
