I play video games consistently and the men the post + commenters talk about just don’t prioritize y’all 😭 maybe it’s bc I go to a rigorous stem school where almost everyone games, but the average person ik who games daily can still manage their time for a relationship

also most people ik game as a social thing (either to play with other people or to geek out abt cool narratives or mechanics). so imo the “I’m gonna game instead of hanging out with you” is just the chronically online version of “I’m gonna hang out with my friends instead of you.” it’s not abt the games it’s abt a shitty behavior

This^ My bf likes to play video games with friends but we still go on dates and he prioritizes me. Men can game and date. You just have to be worth it to him.

Yeah, I think it really just comes down to whether they prioritize video games over the relationship tbh. I would be fine with dating someone who plays video games if they didn’t do that
