i did a masters in the UK so I could live here for 3 years to have easy access travelling mainland Europe before moving back to the US. I don’t care to find a work visa sponsorship here, I just work at a cafe so I can afford rent & £40 airfare

I took a 2 year gap between undergrad and grad school and saved a bunch of money for the move but it’s all gone now and I’m ignoring my student loans lol

You just have to be really okay with hostels and only eating food from grocery stores if you want to budget haha. and try to memorize ‘please’ ‘ thank you’ ‘hello’ goodbye’ and ‘sorry’ in the language of whatever country you’re going to lol. Where in the UK are you studying?

Nice! I was nervous the first time too but many hostels have female only dorms which is nice. the website hostelworld is the best for booking and i only would read the reviews from other women to see how comfortable they were. & you may meet someone in your program who will want to travel to :)
