It can be a great method for a lot of people. Just note that, unless it’s a last resort, you’re only recommended to use it for up to 2 years due to bone mineral density loss leading to fractures and osteoporosis. It’s also linked to brain tumors, though that needs more research. If there’s another method that will work fine for you, try that first.

uh it was fine for me. i got on bc at 16 bc my periods were awful, i did the patch, depo, pills, and now have the implant. i like the implant the best for prevention and bc its stopped my period completely. but depo made my periods lighter at least. just annoying that u have to keep going back to get it

I don’t remember to take my pills on time but I’m just going on it because accutane requires it birth control so I shouldn’t have to go back that much

What’s scary about an implant? It’s placed in your arm using a needle, just like depo, except it’s one and done for 5 years instead of every 3 months.

They do go best together. I carry Narcan every day so I can pull double duty unless you want to be the fentfairy

I don’t want to feel in in the arm and I’m scared of the long term implications cause it made my friend literally crazy and gain a ton of weight
