i use a lot of colors whenever i blend lol - i think for these sections i used between 5-7 depending on how dark i wanted it to go! the page itself is also cardstock which is SO much easier to blend on. i almost exclusively use the brush tip on my markers, the only time ill use the smaller one is when im doing really tiny details :)

My brother got me brush tips for Christmas and I cannot figure out how to use them and control where the ink goes

are they alcohol markers? tbh for me at least there was SUCH a steep learning curve with them especially if the paper you use is thinner. they also bleed SO much which might be why you’re having trouble with the ink!!
