I don’t think I’ll ever change my last name. I like it, it’s feminine and pairs well with my first, and I’m gonna have a PhD and I want it to be my name on there. My work. And I’d have to request an alter in my diploma if I got a name change

I’m married! I wanted to change my last name but it’s soooo much work. I have to change all legal documents, financial, all my medical certifications need alterations. Idk if it’s worth it xD

My last name is literally one of the most common ones in the US so it wouldn’t be a LOSS (plus I have a brother who carries the family name anyways) but the work is just ridiculous and costly

I will say it’s cheaper than changing it without marriage attributed to it but still it’s costly
