this is how my dad is, i'm telling you it doesn't get better and it will truly start to dictate your life. unless he takes a serious change you should consider breaking up with him. no amount of love is worth this behavior and I promise you'll grow more resentment if he doesn't change

Its how my parents are too. It’s starting to remind me of my childhood, and it’s why i dont interact with them much. This will most likely turn into a fun fun fun conversation we get to have at the end of my finals week.

this behavior isn’t normal btw, but it’s how i grew up bc my dads moods dictated the energy of the whole house if he wasn’t just straight up physically abusing everybody. it’s toxic as hell and it took me way too long to realize i didn’t have to live like that and dump him
