Am i crazy for thinking that we shouldn’t body shame anyone? I feel like we are too comfortable doing so and we justify it bc they have done something we don’t agree with

I always think about that one comedian who posted a video saying that women’s bodies are like dog breeds. You can’t be a chihuahua is you are a husky, and you can’t be a corgi if you’re a greyhound

encouraging an overweight person to lose weight isn’t body shaming, love. that’s being a good friend

and who are you to be giving out health advice to people? your fat friend has heard that comment a thousand times before and it’s shameful that you think that’s an appropriate thing to say to anyone

if they didn’t ask you then it’s not your business. don’t act like you know better than your friends abt their own bodies if you want to stay their friends.

Even if your friend asked you to idk help them lose weight that doesn’t mean you body shame them, that doesn’t mean you call them fat. It means maybe going to the gym with them and being supportive
