it just seems like she doesn’t truly recognize i have circumstances going on even tho i literally had to ask for month long extensions on all my assignments and sees it as a competition bc she argued the prof favors me more … no girl
is it a red flag that i explained to my friend i get longer extensions bc i sent our prof a students of disabilities letter saying i have mental problems and she says the prof favors me bc of that (shes from an eastern country$

Actually insane she doesn’t know what accommodations are and weird asf that’s what her mind immediately went to after explaining it to her..

i think it’s more a cultural shift because depending on where she’s from, that’s probably not a probable cause or at the very least not talked about (taboo? maybe) i think she’s just being a bit “oblivious” whether that’s on purpose or accident idk

:( it really sucks she seems very supportive otherwise but that comment threw me off. in malaysia where she’s from they may not have understanding of this type of thing?

oh yeah Malaysia has a lot of taboo and misconceptions around mental health , i had a friend from there and it was the same thing - it’s just a shameful thing unfortunately
