Idk if theres any nursing students/people who work in the medical field here but whats like the best shoes to buy for long shifts. Im about to start 12 hr overnight shifts and they’re lowkey gonna kick my ass so i NEED good shoes

one of the biggest game changers will be compression socks. graduated compression is better, the higher the better. i love my brooks but tbh they take some time to break in to be comfy. honestly if that’s not in your budget, some very cushiony skechers were my first hospital shoes and i honestly loved them.

you’re also gonna NEED to stretch, do legs-up-the-wall pose before and after shift (and on break if you can), and get one of those lil acupressure rollers or balls for your feet and calves
