is it considered healing if I write unsent letters telling my ex how much I miss them/updating as if he were receiving them? or should I stop that completely it’s only when I feel the grief more times than others. but idk if it’s healthy to keep that up.

i think this could be harmful to continue. maybe make the letters more about you and your feelings towards yourself and what u did during the day and how u can reflect on tht/ what u want to do for urself each day.

thank you for affirming! I don’t plan on doing it forever bc I am set on moving on one day but still idk if it would make the healing process slower or not yk 🤷‍♀️

I just hate it bc one day/minute I’m logical and I’m at peace and then the next I’m crying and upset. It’s a constant up and down, like the relationship itself.

makes sense it's a big change to go thru. be kind to urself and try to refocus from him to maybe also writing about why the relationship ended, how u feel abt it, and why ultimately u need to figure out what u want for ur life and all this new time u have for urself now. it's important to not continue to romanticize a finish relationship no matter how good it seemed, because in the end it is over and time for u to find urself again
