Whoever came up with the idea that cats are independent, unaffectionate animals was a liar bc my cats cannot let me use the bathroom alone. And it doesn’t matter if I close the door bc one of them figured out how to jiggle the door handle

And now my partner and I have a new requirement for future rentals because this cat is so close to figuring out how to fully open doors, so we need all door knobs to be round from now on

you’re probably shit out of luck on that one my dog pretty quickly figured out how to open pretty much any type of doorknob the only real barrier is she can’t pull on the door only push it open after getting the handle turned

she figured those out too. but also a dog is a lot heavier than a cat so your cat might not have the strength to get past them

The squeeze and pull kind that even adults struggle with?? I think your dog is just a genius freak of nature tbh 😭 my cats definitely could not
