exactly. same happened to me. my friend was abroad when her lease ended so i went to her house while the movers she hired packed her stuff, drove her car 20 miles with them to her storage unit to supervise the unload, had to call her dad to pay the bill, drove 20 miles back, locked her house up…and she asked me for gas money. but when it was time for me to move she couldn’t help me move my cat tree 3 blocks away bc i dont have a car. needless to say, we arent rlly friends anymore 🫠
