My bf and I have had this talk, and we agreed to move in with each other like a month or two before our wedding when we get engaged… which may be a while bc we are both college students wanting to go into grad school.

My mom is a Catholic and she and my dad lived together about a year after they started dating. She comes from a very Catholic Irish family too

My Catholic Irish friend is pregnant… out of wedlock and the family is all supportive which amazes me. Like, as a family should be, but coming from Irish Catholics?? I’m just Catholic and I think my parents would be so upset and then relax after tbh.

Oh 100%. My mom when like all of us girls were young made a comment about someone who had a kid out of wedlock and was like “If you girls were to ever get pregnant. We would be upset, but we would keep it because we would have your back and help you. We love you and are still your parents.” Which is nice to know that they are like that, but I’m also scared off my ass to get pregnant out of wedlock and my mom judge me…
