No hate to hairstylists but I cut and dye my own hair and I feel like $75 for less than 30 minutes of work is absolutely wild

It’s crazy but that adds up to me. I was paying $200 with tip for basic highlights and a trim :/ now I just cut my own hair bc fuck that

It could be because of where they’re based in. I’ve never paid more than $30 just to get my hair cut.

Mind you this was a pretty average salon, they weren’t doing anything revolutionary
