Ugh I hate that you sound exactly like me ☹️ the way my partner put it to me makes me feel at least a little better, but you have to think about it in the way of you gaining all your partner’s friends and family as your own. It feels a lot less lonely that way. If you do want to stick to a courthouse wedding though, we just did that this past week actually and it was a TON of fun. We got dinner and went to a bar with bowling after lol

Disclaimer though — we are still planning on a “real” wedding, we just can’t afford it anytime soon and we needed to get him on my insurance plan bc he’s paying like $400/month otherwise. We’re calling it a “business deal” 😂 but just saying, it’s not really as lonely and sad to have a courthouse wedding as you’d probably assume!
