if youre a fitness girly/count your calories how do you stay ontop of it on your period? i dont sit and eat a bunch of chocolate or anything but i am a lot hungrier but trying to watch myself a little. what do you do

On your period you naturally burn a lot more calories. Don’t focus too much on calories in general though, I’ve been there and it sucks and makes you spiral! Just focus on being healthy. :)

Let yourself eat mama! A few extra hundred calories won’t hurt you, and restricting yourself from intuitive eating might not be realistic long-term

I go up to my maintenance calories instead of the deficit while on my period and then when it’s done I drop back down into the deficit
