I HATEEEEE being interested in things that guys grow up liking. It’s so hard for me to make girl friends not in a pick me way but in a “we don’t have the same interests” way. Like all of my girls are online and it’s so hard to meet them in person.

what are some of those interests? i’ve been getting into motorsports over the past year and i’ve been lowkey intimidated by the fandom bc i’ve been in woman-dominated hobbies and activities most of my life😭

Oh I totally get it, sometimes fandoms can be SO misogynistic whether they realize it or not. I’m mostly into like video games but I wishhhh I grew up playing sports or something so I could at least be around other girls more 😭

oof i feel u there, im mostly into formula 1 and the fandom has some weird ppl, and ik some games have that too😭 idk why ur getting downvoted lol ur right, but if ur in school u could try joining like pickup sports games or intramural if theres something specific ur interested in! its never too late :)

one thing i want to do this semester is try to go to pick up volleyball games at my schools rec center, i have a friend who i talked abt this with last sem so hopefully she’s still down lol

Honestly I would do that but I have to work 2 jobs during the semester 😵‍💫 it’s a good idea though!! I think I’m going to drop into clubs a lot more whenever I have free time too.
