I feel like it’s not even about how close the person is to their +1, it’s about how meaningful it would be to the bride and groom to have each specific person there and how close they are to them

i’m of the opinion that anyone who isn’t married doesn’t need to bring their partner tbh. especially with how expensive a single seat at a wedding can be, i’d never want to go to my new girls friends wedding and single-handedly cost a stranger $500 just by showing up lol
