GIRL ME TOO, I put on a lot of muscle a few years ago because I was told I was way too skinny. Then they told me I was too “big”, then I lost weight since I stopped working out. And guess what, now I’m too thin…. You just cannot win. Do what is best for you and what makes YOU happy, nobody else

Don’t worry about what people say. If you like being skinny be skinny and if you like being thick be thick! Everyone has their own opinions on things including what weight looks good on who so don't take criticism from others if you're happy how you are

I know exactly what your talking about. People used to make fun of me saying I had an eating disorder and even reported me to our teachers. They didn’t actually care, they were just making fun of how small I was. I had horrible body dysphoria growing up because of it. Even now I’m still a small woman and I have some trouble finding clothes. Hang in there OP

Good for you tho. Seriously. It’s so hard being a girl. Every reflection I pass I have to look in it. I’m not fat I just have thick thoughts and I wear baggy clothing all the time which doesn’t help but it is so hard. I hope you have people in your corner. Just keep being you

unfortunately there will never be a way out, someone’s “too fat” is another’s “too skinny” and trends are always shifting. at the end of the day your body is yours alone and it’s how you feel in it that matters

Hear me out…you’re only unhealthy if you literally have medical problems. I’m big boned, which I know sounds like a “fat person excuse” to some, however I exercise plenty and eat right and my body just happens to be slightly bigger than my friends, who does the same, and is incredibly thin. Genetics are a thing and it’s stupid that companies/corporations profit off of our fucked up interpretations of ourselves we develop from puberty. The beauty standard is the stupidest thing we’ve created ngl

lol period as soon as I put on a little weight I get “are you watching your diet” comments. Coming from the same person who was telling me that I’m so thin it looks like I have an eating disorder and I need to eat more. Ok.

Anyone who reads this is beautiful. Do what feels good for YOUR body, not someone who shouldn’t have an opinion about you :)

I wish society wasn’t like that but it’s become the norm

Try building muscle and eating more, not more food but more nutrients and vitamins

i mean i would argue that just eating more food in general is also necessary for weight gain

I find it helpful to do 6 small meals a day instead of three big ones. It’s kind of hard to keep up with sometimes but that’s the only way I can fuel my body to keep up with running/gym
