‘just a teacher’ as if we (teachers) are not single-handedly responsible for the intelligence of the next generations & largely responsible for their career paths and motivations in life 🙄🙄

I feel like it’s important to state that the reason he lost said subbing job was because he let 8 yo children fight each other. I’m also gonna mention that the sister has forgiven him (after making sure he had appropriate consequences) and claims he’s getting better but does agree with us that his education does not excuse his behavior.

likeeee sitting in on an IEP meeting & realizing that you are the barrier to this lil kid learning anything at all in life .. it’s an insane feeling and our pedagogy should not be discounted just cuz we’re underpaid

no i fully agree, i also work in education. i was talking about that troll on here that thinks the unemployed cornell grad that got fired from his subbing job is better than the girl who’s a teacher
